QDOS is a unique rating system that allows you to measure and therefore manage your online presence. Each QDOS score is comprised of four components – popularity, impact, activity and individuality. Each component is scored separately and these are combined to form a total QDOS
score.

• Popularity – is who you know in the online world and who knows you;
• Impact – the number of people who listen to you when you blog/post things online
• Activity – what you do online and how much of it you do
• Individuality – how unique you are in the online world

There are three cash prizes for students (or those within two years of graduating) to help pay for student loans/expenses/travelling. The cash prizes will be awarded to the three individuals with the highest QDOS scores as follows:

• First prize = £10,000
• Second prize = £5,000
• Third prize = £2,500

my student loans into something safe

I am attending college and was wondering about investing my student loans into something safe like CD's or mutual funds. I am on a full ride scholarship for academics and do not need any loans for tuition and i have a part time job to cover any other bills. I was just wondering if it would be an okay idea to take out maybe 10 grand and invest it in a rather secure fashion. I was thinking something along the lines of CD's or mutual funds or both. What is your opinion?
