hmm.. agree hussien IS a bastard...i thought killing him was justice... but you know sometimes letting someone live can be the best and worst thing that someone can do to you with his past history.. letting him live in a constant torchered conscience (come on..everyone's human at the end of the day everyone feels remorse) and with constant reminders everyday of his crimes could possibly be one of the cruelst things they could've done. also the fact that everyone on this planet practically hates him doesn't make things any easier, so technically they're doing him a favour by sparing him the feeling of guilt through all his years of power.

all of this is basically a quick responce to please the masses that wanted him killed, everyone just assumes the worst punishment you can receieve from someone is if you get killed but really all it is is pain for a short while and then u can't feel anything anymore

Err, I think it's shifted from an intellectual debate regarding the assassination of a tyrant to a debate about the best way to kill someone slowly. I hold my hands up and take the blame for this juvenile shift as does Illy (she told me this). So, how could we have inflicted maximum pain upon a wanker like Saddam? Lock him in a room with Jade Goody?
