What you english crettins studying?

I'm doing 'English' at Chester which is more Literature than anything. There are certain elements of Language in there but for the most part it's Literature.

Currently studying good ol' Bill Shakespeare and Twelfth Night but since I've been unwell for like...ever...I've not actually read it or watched the film adaptation yet.

Are you enjoying your course? Do you think you made the right decision?

Yeah definitely. I got onto the course at Chester, but opted for UWE Bristol instead as it wasn't so far away. Bill Shakespeare is the man. I find that on my course, which is purely literature, no language, I spend my time reading books, writing what I think of them, and that's it. I'm only in lessons 7 hours a week, I am required to do far less work than anyone else I know, I've developed my writing skills tremendously and had loads of time free to work for money, drink, shag, have adventures, all the usual student stuff. Couldn't have chosen a better course, really. If it doesn't work out in Chester, apply here instead.
